Here we present an original drink from our Kocktail Curator, Neil Donachie. The Hummingbird is a twist on the Junglebird, invented by Jeffrey Ong from the Aviary Bar at the Kuala Lumpur Hilton and became a modern classic since its inception in the 1970s.
Our take on the classic replaces the rum for pisco and adds a joyful dash of strawberry and passionfruit syrup.
- 40ml Pisco
25ml fresh lime juice
- 10ml monin strawberry
- 5ml monin passionfruit syrup
Fill a cocktail shaker with ice
Add all ingredients and shake for 10 seconds
Strain into an ice filled rocks glass
Garnish with a slice of orange
