North Coast 500
Inspired by Scotland’s Route 66 – The North Coast 500 combines Scotch and Islay whisky with Cointreau, lemon juice, ginger and honey to create a well-rounded cocktail, perfect for sipping on whilst you soak in the views of the beautiful Scottish coast.
The North Coast 500 sees two classic cocktails merge together, it’s essentially a Penicillin and Sidecar combined. By using the Scotch and Islay Whisky from the Pencillin and Cointreau from the Sidecar, takes this cocktail to a whole new authority.
- 35ml Scotch Whisky
- 5ml Islay whisky
- 10ml Cointreau
20ml fresh lemon juice
- 5ml honey syrup
Fill a cocktail shaker with ice
Add all ingredients and shake for 10 seconds
Strain into an ice filled rocks glass
Garnish with candied ginger
